The 56-year-old Australian icon appeared on the set of Lorraine Kelly’s popular ITV morning show on Tuesday, where she talked about her starring role in Richard O’Brien’s iconic rock and roll musical The Rocky Horror Show as part of her upcoming world spoke Tour.

Lorraine highlighted the show’s emotional value to Jason, as it was during its run that he met his wife, Angela Malloch.

Jason revealed that Angela was working as a stage manager when they first met. Their initial friendship blossomed into a romance that remains strong to this day.

Lorraine opened the conversation with, “So the show really meant a lot to you because that’s where you met your wife.”

To which Jason replied: “Yeah that’s where I met my wife,” adding: “We’re still going strong so it’s another success story and he was stage manager in 1998 and you know the rest is history “

While Jason and Angela tend to keep their family life private, it is known that they have three children: Gemma (born 2000), Zac (born 2001) and Molly (born 2011).

Speaking to his family, Jason stated that although he is not yet a grandfather, it is an experience he is looking forward to.

“Three kids later. You know I don’t have any grandkids yet but maybe I don’t,” she explained before turning the question back to Lorraine and asking, “How old is your daughter?”
